Teaching of quantum physics is a challenging job. However due to the developments in the pedagogical tools, now it has become more effective and learner centric. In this paper, a heuristic approach using MS-Excel spreadsheet software is presented to teach the merger of quantum and classical physics at large energies or quantum numbers. The article illustrates the Bohr’s Correspondence principle using H-atom and particle in a box. The energy level spacing is used to demonstrate the quantum and classical behavior of the system. Such a model could be more appropriate for the students of introductory quantum physics.
