Nanotechnology has emerged in the medical science as a technology well suited for the diagnosis, monitoring, control, prevention and treatment for variety of disease. Among the various applications of nano-biotechnology, healthcare is considered one of the most significant domain. Various nanomaterials have been investigated for management and detection of several pathological conditions such as in surgery, operative dentistry, ophthalmology, visualization, tissue engineering, antibiotic resistance, immune response, cancer, neuro degenerative disorders such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease and tuberculosis treatment. One of the most investigated systems in preclinical and clinical setting is drug delivery and imaging systems due to its capability of delivering therapeutics and treating areas of the body precisely than other.
